The Currency union : the Euro and lessons for East Asia

Abstract

The European Union integration is one of the most significant events that has taken place in the course of history in that part of the world. Despite the two World Wars that were fought there, the member countries of the European Union were able to forget the past and co-operate for the benefit of everyone. This was not an easy process, but was through much planning that made the Union a reality.
