Title: | Development of an online assessment system for laboratory classes | Authors: | Leong, Yeh Theng | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering | Issue Date: | 2018 | Abstract: | Flipped classroom will be the upcoming trend in the educational institutions due to the advance in technology. Online assessment will be integrated to be part of the flipped classroom activity as the students can take the assessment remotely. However, the disadvantage is it is not a face-to-face assessment; the professor might not be able to assess the output of the assessment remotely. Therefore, there is a need to develop an online system for laboratory classes and view the result remotely. The basic features for the professor to assess the assessment are: 1. Remote monitoring desktop: The professor can access to run the program and switch on the webcam 2. Camera or Webcam: It displays the output and reflected on the remote monitoring desktop screen. The implemented online lab infrastructure allows the connectivity between the professor’s PC and remote desktop successfully. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/75348 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
