Although, PUFs have been theoretically proven to be better than the existing technology such as Radio Frequency Identity (RFID), smart cards and/or Near Communication Devices which uses Non-Volatile Memory (NVM), they still have disadvantages to overcome. Examples of these disadvantages are maintaining the Bit Error Rate (BER), durability and reliability.
