Abstract: A human guided robot system has been developed to integrate both human capabilities and robot abilities to produce an effective system. Robots are known to carry out more quality and high accuracy work however in situations where the robot is unable to carry out its function due to unanticipated surroundings, the human will take control of the robot via a joystick controller. In this Final Year Project, the student has further developed and improved the existing program to enable a better control system. The student would be focusing on controlling the speed of the robot arm when the human takes control of the robot as well as implementing an emergency stop button.
