Abstract: This project is to help athletes to train smart with the aid of technology instead of their regular training. It aims to design and develop a program using the platform of Microsoft Visual Studio and Kinect. The program is set out to determine the athletes’ height, arm length, femur length, forearm length and shoulder width. The program will capture the data using Kinect there after using the C Programming to determine the measurements of the user’s shoulder width, arm length, waist circumference and femur. Moreover, to determine the angles of the knee, ankle, elbow flexion. The author was to create a program to obtain the desired outcome. However, the author encounters an issue which caused the program to be unable to uncompiled. Thus, the author was not able to run some test and compare the results.
