Title: | Non-destructive inspection using Low Cost Ultra-Wideband Technology | Authors: | Lim, Ying Xun | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Mechanical engineering | Issue Date: | 2018 | Abstract: | This project demonstrated the use of Walabot for in-wall imaging and analysed the limits of the WalabotSDK. With the continued advancement in technology, various new methods of non-destructive inspection are steadily becoming commercialised. One of the potential contenders for non-destructive inspection is the use of Ultra-Wideband technology. The Walabot emerged as the only existing low cost, customisable device that uses Ultra-Wideband technology. This report aims to explore the capabilities of a highly customisable in-wall imaging product, Walabot, by conducting self-designed experiments. The Walabot application will also be replicated for possible future usage and research. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/75685 | Schools: | School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
