Issue Date: 2018
Abstract: The goal of Big Data Visualization is to present the hidden insight from a data set in a format which allows human to understand it faster. The objective of this case study is to understand how will the overall water quality of the reservoir be affected by numerous factors such as wind field. The data are acquired from a large network of physical devices that are implanted with software, sensors, and a link between the devices which allowed them to connect and exchange data, in short, the network is known as the Internet of things(IoT). There is a need to build an integrated and interactive platform for application users to visualize the given data to allow them to analyze and monitor the overall quantity of the water easier.A literature review of Big Data Visualization, details of implementation approach and recommendations for future work on the platform are discussed in this report.
