Authors: Loh, Don Zhen Kiat
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Computer science and engineering
Issue Date: 2018
Abstract: As networks become even faster, and hardware becomes even more powerful, cloud gaming is once again the highlight of the year. Cloud gaming utilizes a powerful remote PC to perform rendering of games and streams it back to the player over the internet, providing a solution for gamers who do not have powerful hardware to run graphics intensive games. This project aims to implement an on-demand cloud gaming system that would allow gamers to perform a 1-click deployment of games onto AWS EC2. In the report, the implementation process will be gone through. At the end, the performance and cost of utilizing cloud services would be evaluated, revealing challenges towards the adoption of cloud gaming.
