Issue Date: 2018
Abstract: Electromagnetic waves are everywhere in our daily environments. It is an important fundamental foundation and a natural phenomenon for all living forms as well as for us to understand the concept behind our modern technologies. Building an intuitive tool to analyse and simulate how the waveforms transform could be essential in our education system as well as to have a better appreciation on how to fully utilise it in various aspects. Android platform is adopted to develop application that could simulate various polarisation occurring depending on different inputs from users. The reliability and accuracy of the simulation used in the App, reflects how a real-time Electromagnetism occurs based on formulas deduced in theory. Hence, it is essential to have an accurate and intuitive tool to simulate and verify the results obtained theoretically. Various experiments on different platforms are conducted for simulation.
