Abstract: The New Paper Chase is a feature that looks into how perceptions of the diploma have changed with recent education policy changes and deep disruption in the Singapore economy. This package looks at why students are choosing the poly route despite it being considered the less secure route to university, and how employers have changed their hiring to look beyond the paper qualification. The package also looks at how government policies have affected these perceptions.
