Abstract: This project aims to speed up the process of drug development with the aid of automated segmentation of nuclei in histopathological images via deep learning method. Different traditional segmentation methods were explored and how to leverage the use of deep learning technology to speed up the process. The steps to perform segmentation task on given raw nuclei image input were discussed. At the end of the report, the prediction results are shown.
