Title: | Interactive mobile profiler : finding the best suitable events for you | Authors: | Cheng, Qian Yi | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Computer science and engineering | Issue Date: | 2019 | Abstract: | In recent years, interest-based events in web and mobile platforms are gaining popularity and many users are using these platforms for recreational purposes and making friends through common interests. However, there are limitations for those current applications that are available in the market, and many aspects of the features can be improved for a better user experience and matching interests for the users. Therefore, Eventify is developed. Eventify is a mobile application for both Android and IOS operating system device users with the use of React Native. This boosts the connectivity of people despite the various operating systems used. In addition, Eventify provides real-time update which allows users’ responses to the event be reflected and posted events allows everyone in the vicinity or with matching-interest to see it immediately. Moreover, users can view events in live update based on their vicinity and distance search range at any time. Overall, Eventify emphasis on the features that the users would need such as friendly user interface allowing users to easily manoeuvre around the application and getting detailed steps in getting the location of the event.
