Title: | Mythasia : the mythical creatures of Southeast Asia | Authors: | Toh, Ying Li | Keywords: | DRNTU::Humanities::History::Asia::Southeastern Asia DRNTU::Visual arts and music::Drawing, design and illustration |
Issue Date: | 2019 | Abstract: | Mythasia is a cultural heritage project that researches and documents the traditional mythological creatures that exist in Southeast Asia’s history. The development of this project originates from the realisation that as Singapore rapidly modernised, we have begun to forget the mythological creatures that form part of our cultural heritage. This project hence aims to address this issue by creating a concise and comprehensive information source on these creatures for Singaporeans. The finished project will manifest in 3 main forms: a physical copy of a bestiary/encyclopaedia, a digital website database and an installation. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/77400 | Schools: | School of Art, Design and Media | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
