dc.description.abstract | Due to increasing traffic volume in the internet, the current networking paradigm may have some problems to deal with such high traffic volume in the future. Information Centric Networking (ICN) is proposed to solve such issues and to replace current paradigm. ICN evolve the networking paradigm from host-centric to content-centric, it focusses on the name of the content regardless of the location. However, ICN still have some security problems needed to be improved. This report will introduce the background on both current networking paradigm and ICN. The author will focus on denial of service (DoS) attack. This kind of attack is one of the common attacks in the present paradigm and it will also be a security problem in ICN. Author will investigate the existing literature about DoS attack and design the security schemes to protect ICN. | en_US |
