Abstract: This project had developed a system using python to generate smart QR code for mobile users that provide a one-stop solution for designing and generating their own QR code images. The main aim of this project was to allow user to be able to retrieve the contact information from scanning the QR code with his/her own QR code scanner and be able to retrieve the stored data into the original address book the same as any other contacts. This system was designed and developed in a way that end user can use the QR code generator without accessing to internet and does not require user to sign up before they can design their own QR codes which most online QR code generator require. The QR code generator also includes almost all the essentials that the current online QR code provide. There are still other available functions for the end-users 1) Text QR code generator, 2) URL QR code generator, 3) Color picker to change the QR code color, 4) Adding Logo into the QR code, 5) Adding Blending image into the QR Code.
