Abstract: Solar energy is one of the most popular renewable energy resources in the world. Although there are many solar energies related project in Singapore, most of these are large scaled projects done by large companies such as Sunseap, etc. For individuals who are unable to afford large-scaled solar energy systems but wish to take initiative in converting to cleaner alternative energy resources, this Final Year Project is aiming to target this issue. This project will be focused on designing and developing an off-grid solar energy system that is meant for households’ usage. The final product should be able to power up household’s equipment, such as lightings, through the use of cleaner resources.
