Title: | A mobile application to consolidate online purchases | Authors: | Tay, Geok Rong | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering | Issue Date: | 2019 | Abstract: | Technology advancement has changed the way people live by providing greater comfort and convenience that enhances the quality of life. Online shopping is a product from technology advancement that changed the way people shop. As more people turned to online shopping, it becomes harder for one to keep track of the purchases made. With email as a medium for communication between sellers and buyers, the buyer could be informed of the status of the purchases made. Although this platform could only provide users with simple tracking services, such as informing them that the item has been dispatched, this information is vital as the buyer can expect the item to reach them within a matter of days. Also, as not all sellers adopt email as a method to communicate on the status of the purchase with the buyer, it is difficult for one to keep track on all purchases made without consolidating the information on a single platform. The aim of this project is to develop an android application that consolidates one’s online purchases, bringing convenience to the user to keep track of all purchases made. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/77614 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
