Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering
Issue Date: 2019
Abstract: The intention of the project is to develop the graphical user interface (GUI), BSTAR, for an integrated and intelligent building management system (I2BMS). BSTAR is used in the remote control and monitoring of the building systems, which includes HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning), lighting, security, lift and elevator access, fire security, and energy management. Currently, BSTAR is primarily used for the control and monitoring of HVAC system. Benefits of BMS and BSTAR for occupants of the buildings, as well as the building operators, will be discussed in this project. The main focus is on the process and the functionality in developing the BSTAR using C# programming in Microsoft Visual Studios 2017.
