Title: | Student Request Service System (SRSS) | Authors: | Chan, Lizhen | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering | Issue Date: | 2019 | Abstract: | Technology has always been advancing in the recent years, and lots of processes are capable of being done online. Such examples would be online shopping, online purchases of daily necessities and even food. With this idea in mind, this final year project is about how design process has been thought out to make an online Student Service Request System for School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. First, thorough background research on designing processes and software engineering will be discussed. Followed by the different research methodologies. The best research methodology is then carried out and put in place to carry out the research. Research findings are then used in consideration for designing and implementing of the system. Then a prototype is done to mimic and bring forth the idea of the system, which builds on user experiences and user interface. At the same time, considering the different newest technologies such as React, ES6 and NoSQL Database, the prototype is then implemented and developed. Lastly, how the system works and different test scenarios are tested out to make sure the system is robust. Recommendations for future works will also be discussed. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/77679 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
