In this Thesis, the performance of Silicon Carbide (SiC) IZM120R045M1 will be investigated. A double pulse will be created using Development Kit LAUNCHXL-F28379D. Through an integrated development environment, Code Composer Studio, that is capable of creating a application program to control the double pulse. The evaluation board used in this experiment is created by Infineon, EVAL-1EDC20H12AH-SIC that is constructed with a half-bridge configuration. The first part of the thesis will consist of the Literature Review on the background and basic information of the double pulse test. Subsequently, hardware will be presented and explained in detail. Schematic of the hardware will be showed with all the pins configuration. The connection of the hardware will be presented in the next portion of the thesis. Finally, the result of the experiment is presented. All the settings are included along with image of the waveform.en_US
