Abstract: A variety of plants in the rainforest rely on animals to have their seeds dispersed. This research aims to aids the growth of plants in rainforest by spreading the seed far away from their parent plant. To determine the exact location of the seeds that have been dispersed after the fruit has been consumed, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology has been implemented. This technological solution provides a means of tracking the seeds’ location. To achieve optimal results, the antenna needs to be portable and has strong signal gain to read the RFID tags, from which the tag information will be displayed on the eChain software.
