Abstract: In this modern world, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) are widely used in industries due to its capabilities and efficiency. As such the need to operate long hours, one of the main concerns was fault-related issue. This project’s goal is to develop a prognosis scheme for PMSM that would be used to predict the condition of the machine in the event when an inter-turn fault has occurred.
