Title: | Home automation system based on modular approach | Authors: | Toh, Wang Kiat | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering | Issue Date: | 2019 | Abstract: | The objective of this project is to design and create a system for home automation that minimises the need for knowledge and experience in the fields of electrical circuit design and coding. The method to be used in implementing such a system is modularisation, the breakdown of the typical home automation system into its constituent components to form modules that can be customized and combined. The following chapters will introduce the different components of the Modular Home Automation System, MHAS, and how each module come together to form a working home automation system while achieving the objective stated above. Following which, a working model of the MHAS system will be analysed and used to determine how useful the concept of modularisation is towards the field of home automation. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/77909 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
