Abstract: This project explores how immersive media (IM) can be used to inspire Singaporeans to visit local museums and to learn about our collective history and art history. The deliverable will be a visualization of a 1850s lithograph, ‘Singapore River with Thomson’s Bridge’, into a immersive computer program and virtual reality (VR) installation, created for the Singapore Bicentennial 2019.
