Abstract: This project was a collaboration between NTU School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering and Rolls-Royce@NTU Corporate Lab. The objective of this project was to build a web application that would be hosted in a Linux operating system as a web server for internal data monitoring use. This data visualisation tool is important to alert engineers when anomalies in readings occur. The web application was used as a data visualisation tool to read data signals emitted from an embedded system called EHM (Equipment Health Management) that monitored a marine generator. Data would be passed as log file and would then be written to database. Users would be able to send request and query data from database. The web application was developed using Node.js as the backend framework and Angular.js as the frontend framework, as well as MongoDB as the database. The web application would then be deployed into web server using Nginx and PM2.
