Title: Monitoring and alerting system for dehydration condition

Abstract: The dehydration condition monitoring and alerting system is created to provide support for individuals that are more prone to dehydration and to its next of kin. The system is non-invasive developed using Raspberry Pi and various sensors such as the galvanic skin response (GSR) sensor, pulse rate sensor and temperature sensor to detect the various biological signals for dehydration condition of the user. In the event of dehydration condition being detected, the system will alert the next of kin via SMS, phone call and the same time LED will light up and buzzer will trigger. All the sensors values are recorded in real time in a log file in the system and relational database management system, MySQL. The data are recorded for medical purposes which could be retrieved by doctors for future use.
