Title: Image processing applications on the Nvidia Jetson platform

Abstract: Since the introduction of QR Code by Denso Wave in 1994, many innovative approaches have been applied to make use of this two-dimensional QR code. This report focusses on one such useful application of the QR technology - To use the QR Code for fast and effective visualization of content by super-imposing image(s) of the encoded content onto the camera output. The report will first explain the rationale for using the QR code as a marker and text encoder, followed by the project description. The hardware used to execute this project is Nvidia Jetson TX2 developer kit given its computing performance and mobility. Detailed image processing process for decoding and overlaying images will be covered in this report. Lastly, this report will highlight the future application of this projects on Augmented Reality.
