Abstract: This report is about the design and analysis of an electric mobility device. The device in question is an electric scooter which is a vehicle consisting of a motor wheel on the front and a free wheel at the back. Due to the implementation of new laws by the Singapore government regarding the usage of electric mobility devices, this project aims to tweak the design of the electric scooter to be more suited for use in Singapore. This report discusses the ideation and design of an electric scooter that will match the needs of the Singapore market. In this project, the electric scooter will be designed to be more stable and meet the regulatory restrictions placed on electric scooters in Singapore.
