Abstract: Japanese visitors are an important segment of visitors that have contributed significantly to Singapore's annual receipts of visitors' expenditures. However, we are witnessing a declining trend in the expenditure level of the Japanese visitors in the recent years and this phenomenon has motivated the current study which aims to enhance understanding of the Japanese visitors' shopping and purchasing behaviour.
