Title: Why do Chinese firms like to list overseas?
Authors: Yu, Ping.
Keywords: DRNTU::Business::Finance::Equity
Issue Date: 2002
Abstract: This thesis examines the three possible explanations to identify the motives behind the Chinese companies’ foreign listing decisions. They are the need of foreign exchange, maintaining market order, and a strategic move to establish modern corporation systems. However, the empirical results do not support the first and third explanations.
