Issue Date: 2019
Abstract: Nowadays, Quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) has been widely used in wireless communication systems. An improved version of QAM, ie., the rotated QAM has been recently proposed. This report covers conventional QAM and rotated QAM. Both of them require modulation and demodulation process under various channel conditions. MATLAB simulations are conducted to compare the theoretical result with the simulated result in different channels condition for different modes. Furthermore, some further improvements, suggestions and recommendation are provided for future work.
