Abstract: Global warming is a rising issue that may affect us negatively if we do not manage it carefully. One of the main culprits of global warming is the widespread use of non-renewable resources such as coal and fossil fuels, which release harmful gases into the environment. Hence, the purpose of this design report is to come up with a solution to replace traditional roofs and harvest renewable energy from the environment, which can reduce the use of non-renewable resources to power our daily processes. This report covers the mechanical design of the roof and its components, as well as the overall estimated cost of production. Last but not least, the future works and development will also be discussed.
