Abstract: A 1/4-scale model of a typical MRT viaduct girder was constructed and tested under a series of loading to study its performance. A working load test and an ultimate load test were performed on the prestressed, reinforced concrete model. Experimental results are compared with the numerical results obtained from a finite element model as well as analytical models.
