Abstract: A serials of Cd(II) coordination polymers have been attained through hydrothermal self-assembly. During the selfassembly, the flexibility and the scale in length of the ligands play an important role in the construction of interdigitated molecular structures, which supports an alternative approach for designing such networks under the guidance of spacers.
