Abstract: The present study examines the processing of a ceramic-metal powder via powder injection moulding (PIM) process. Tungsten-carbide (WC-Co) was chosen as it represents a typical ceramic-metal combination and also because of its commercial importance. The powders selected were ball milled and characterised for their particle size, size distribution and ship.
