dc.description.abstractWe have developed an alternative methodology for determining the stabilities of DNA hairpin structures based on a specially designed oligonucleotide template and the T4 DNA ligase. This method was systematically tested by evaluation of DNA hairpin stabilities when varying the loop size and the nature of the loop sequence.en
