Abstract: 南宋画僧玉涧若芬所绘「潇湘八景图」,在十四世纪末至十五世纪初传入日本,原作可能为两幅画卷,每幅四景,十五世纪末割制为八幅,现存三幅。玉涧的画作几乎在中国消声匿迹,其破墨山水画风格被日本称为「玉涧样」,对日本室町时代画家深具影响力,值得细加探讨。关于玉涧的生平,由于文献记载不详,所知甚少。本文从与玉涧交往的同时代文人诗歌中考察,推算出玉涧大约生于公元1180-1190年代,卒于公元1260-1270年代。在玉涧的「潇湘八景图」上,各幅均钤有「三教弟子」朱文方印,一般认为「三教弟子」印为玉涧自赞其画后所钤。本文从鲜于枢的书迹发现同款印章,设想鲜于枢及其子鲜于去矜可能是玉涧「潇湘八景图」的收藏者。本文并分析八首「潇湘八景图」的题画诗,配合存世的三幅作品,探究玉涧诗歌和绘画的审美真谛。
