Developing a non-psychometric tool for assessing cultural competencies.

Abstract

In this era of globalisation, employees are required to possess cultural competencies to meet the challenges posed by cross-cultural interactions. Our objective is to create and validate a non-psychometric tool to measure CQ. We developed an in-basket exercise and tested it for its ability to distinguish individuals with high and low levels of CQ.
