Abstract: The purpose of our study was twofold. 1) Since studies used to develop measures of Emotional Quotient (EQ) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) have origins rooted in a predominately western culture, a secondary aim of our study was to evaluate its validity within an Asian (Singapore) context. 2) The main thrust of our studies examines the importance of OCB, Conflict Management Styles (CMS), and EQ towards organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
