Issue Date: | 2018 | Source: | Bevita, K. C. (2018). Hybrid organic-inorganic halide perovskite nanocrystals for light-emitting diode applications. Doctoral thesis, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. | Abstract: | This thesis deals with colloidal synthesis of hybrid organic-inorganic halide perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) for light emitting diode (LED) applications. The influence of, variations in the precursor ratios, as well as NC size distribution modulation via solvent engineering, during colloidal synthesis of methylammonium lead bromide [CH3NH3PbBr3] perovskite NCs, on the efficiency and stability of the perovskite NC-based LEDs are investigated. A comparison of the CH3NH3PbBr3 and formamidinium lead bromide [CH(NH2)2PbBr3] NC synthesis optimizations for LED applications is also presented. The insights obtained from this research are expected to be useful for the design of perovskite NC synthesis protocols for optoelectronic applications. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/88948 http://hdl.handle.net/10220/46021 |
