Abstract: This paper examines the relationship between BSC usage and the four contingency factors: organisational size, product-life-cycle stage, external environment and orgnisational strategy. In this study, the two-way interaction effect of BSC usage and contingency factors on organisational performance is investigated at the strategic business-unit level.
