dc.description.abstractLibraries in Singapore have invested heavily in implementing technology to manage their operations and provide library and information services to their users. This paper provides an overview on the extent of technology use in various types of libraries and discusses briefly the motivation and drive behind the investment. It highlights some of the key provisions in IT infrastructure, implementation of library automation systems, development of library portals and other technological applications in Singapore libraries.en
