Abstract: China has been pushing for an economic corridor that runs from Nanning, the capital of Guanxi province, to Singapore. In the context of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, the proposed Nanning-Singapore economic corridor could become the backbone of Sino-ASEAN cooperation.
