Abstract: This paper examines and compares the effectiveness of mitigation strategies and policy measures implemented by central banks Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand in overcoming the Asian Financial Crisis. The post-crisis economic performance and political environment are tracked and analyzed using a set of evaluation criteria that measures the effectiveness and efficiency in eradicating the vulnerabilities that led to the crisis.
