Abstract: The aim of this study is to determine the factors that will affect the performance of firms that have undergo initial public offerings. More specifically, if these factors (age, gross proceeds, underwriter prestige) will determine if an IPO firm will be successful or fail and if they will significantly affect the outcome of the firm's performance.
