Abstract: Despite the existence of several Arts in Healthcare programs in Singapore’s hospitals, information for these programs are currently scattered and lacks prominence. As part of an effort to generate critical mass for Arts in Healthcare in Singapore and to promote exchange with international colleagues in the field, this introductory paper endeavors to collate existing information on Arts in healthcare programs in Singapore and to provide an overview on the state of such program in Singapore. Its findings shall (i) serve as an indicator for the potential of arts in healthcare development in Singapore, (ii) provide a gauge for professionals and practitioners to consider future trajectories to advance work in the field and (iii) promote exchange with international colleagues.
