Abstract: This project is to develop a wireless sensor network for plume detection, identification and source tracking. It uses the CC2431 of TI/Chipcon [1] to interface with various types of sensors and to communicate between each node. The small size, low cost and powerful festures of this chip in addition to the wireless ZigBee Protocal [2] ensure the high performance and the reliability of the whole system. [2nd Award]
