Abstract: Lignin, a by-product of the paper pulping process, is readily available and inexpensive. Due to limited usage, lignin is commonly regarded as waste materials and burned to supply energy in the papermaking chemical recovery process. To reduce the impact on the environment, through this project, we wish to make use of lignin based nanofibers as a functional material for use in electrochemical applications. [4th Award]
