Abstract: Few corporate governance issues raise as much publicity as the remuneration of directors and executives. Public debate and awareness has continued to increase along with a disturbing perception that many director and executive remuneration packages are overly generous and poorly constructed. This has led to calls for noticeable improvements in the disclosure of executive remuneration. Our paper will illustrate what can be done in Singapore regarding disclosure of executive remuneration for listed companies.
