Enhancing workplace safety with TRIZ. 2012 IEEE International Conference on Management of Innovation and Technology (ICMIT). | Conference: | International Conference on Management of Innovation and Technology (6th : 2012 : Sanur, Bali, Indonesia) | Abstract: | This paper is to study the importance of safety in the workplace, and propose innovative problem-solving methods for engineers, using the theory of TRIZ. Through studying 10 specific Inventive Principles, it demonstrates how TRIZ can be used to generate innovative ideas, to minimize and eliminate safety hazards in the workplace, especially in construction and manufacturing industries, and TRISolver 2.2, as an innovative problem-solving software is introduced and applied in this process. IT is realized that TRIZ can be a powerful tool to tackle difficult problems within a wide range to enhance workplace safety. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/96487 http://hdl.handle.net/10220/11975 |
